Lifetime in development for 'A Day Late' movie

Lifetime is at development around the TV movie modified within the best-selling novel "Every Day Late together with $ 1 Short" from author Terry McMillan.Ostar Prods. has acquired the rights for the book, that's McMillan's fifth novel and was launched in 2001. Tome spent 12 days round the NY Occasions bestseller list, three of those at No. 1.Steven Tolkin is positioned to direct, with Shernold Edwards aboard to produce the telepic. Tolkin and Bill Haber will professional produce.Other books put together by McMillan, who frequently examines African-American lives in their books, include "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" and "Waiting to Exhale," because both versions were modified into movies. Lifetime is positioned to premiere "Five" on March. 10. Cabler will give you an anthology of 5 short films -- all searching at how breast cancers affects women's lives -- directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Secrets, Penelope Sphreeris and Patty Jenkins.
