Miramax to open London office

Miramax plans to open its international office in London later this month as part of expanding its worldwide sales organization.The announcement was made Thursday by Mike Lang, CEO of Miramax. Miramax also said Joe Patrick has been promoted to lead worldwide sales. He will continue to report to Lang and will work closely with Beth Minehart, senior VP of Global Digital. Patrick joined Miramax in March as Senior VP of Domestic Television and Digital Sales. Miramax also announced that Danny Goldman has joined Patrick's team as senior VP and Head of Sales for Europe. Goldman will report to Patrick and be based in London at the new office.Prior to joining Miramax, Patrick was executive VP at MGM Worldwide Television Group overseeing all TV sales in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
