Violinists... how do you feel about carbon fiber bows?

I guess this question also applies to violists and cellists as well...

I really need a new violin bow, and I've mostly been looking at many
of the advanced bows from Shar. I've been playing for 9 years, and can
play pretty advanced pieces (I played Kreisler's Praeludium and
Allegro for an audition last fall).
Among the bows I've seen on the website, there are many nice wood bows
that cost $500+, but also several carbon fiber bows that cost a little
less. Has anyone had any experience with bows like these (example-
Presto Ovation, Encore, Impulse, etc)? In your opinion, did they work
as well as wooden bows, better, or worse? I'm not planning on buying
one right this second, but I've never tried one or know anyone who
uses one, so I'd just like to hear some opinions on them.
